R.I.P. Dorothy Parker

Today is the day that Dorothy Parker died back in 1967. We don't choose to focus on the sadness of this event, but to celebrate her life... Cheers, Dorothy, wherever the hell you are!

One way you might consider celebrating Dorothy Parker's life is to read a poem, have lunch with friends, toast her name with a drink, or just think of something funny.

We also invite you to consider reading a new Algonquin Round Table "mini-mystery" available now for download on Kindle. (Just 99 cents!) You don't need a Kindle to read it -- you can read it on your computer or handheld device (as long as you download the Kindle app).

In this short story, a tray of veal goes missing from the Algonquin kitchen. There are two suspects: Dorothy's dog and a new waiter. Dorothy has to find out what happened to the filched filets before both her dog and the waiter are kicked out of the hotel.
